The Goden Jubilee celebrations of the SLLA was launched at the Prime Minister's office on the 28th January 2010. The President SLLA, Mr Upali Amarasiri presented a set of Golden Jubilee posters to the Prime Minister Hon. Rathnasiri Wickramanayake, signifying the official launch.
The Prime Minister appreciated the services rendered by the SLLA in the past five decades and wished the golden jubilee celebrations all success. The Council members of the SLLA, Ms D I D Andradi, Ms Swarna Jayatilleke and Dr Ruwan Gamage also participated at the event.
